WHO IS SAINT?

What do you do / what is your primary creative expression?

I'm a visual artist that utilizes multiple mediums to tell stories, oftentimes telling these visual stories in live performances for events, churches, videos, etc. I work with acrylics and charcoal with a touch of spray paint, mainly using them in my speed paintings.

How did you become an artist or begin in your craft?

I've always enjoyed visual art as a kid but only had my own interests in mind until I encountered God. From then on, I had a strong desire to create powerful art that changes lives. I realized that creating was a form of worship, and I could worship the Lord, even in the presence of others, through this specific craft.

Why do you create?

I create to spread a message of —

hope to the hopeless, to bring light in the darkness, and to influence the masses.

What is your creative process like and how does God meet you in that?

As I become more established as a creative that loves the Lord, I've learned that I have to be intentional about my creative process. That looks like showing up each day to put in the necessary work, trusting that God will meet me there, and listening to His instructions when He does speak.

What people group(s) or areas of industry has God called you to reach/impact?

I have felt a huge pull to bring influence in media and to uplift the next generation. At the end of the day, media is part of our modern culture and I want to bring a positive influence in that area since I've seen it become darker each year. I know that we are passing the torch to the younger generation, and I want to make sure that I've done my part to build them up so they can continue to have victory over darkness.

What are you hoping for people to experience or see through your artistry?

I am hoping that whoever sees my work experiences God in such a way that they leave changed. I hope that they see God and become captivated by how wonderfully vast and beautiful He is, no matter what style or medium I use.
